Если скорость хода часов в движущемся состоянии определяется путем постоянного сравнения положения стрелок этих часов с положением стрелок покоящихся относительно системы К, мимо которых проходят движущиеся часы, то исходя из равенства физических законов во всех инерциальных системах, данные часы будут показывать одно и тоже время.
2. Движущиеся часы будут идти медленнее чем такие же часы, покоящиеся относительно системы К только с точки зрения системы К, если показания часов будут сравниваться при помощи сигнала, распространяющегося с конечной скоростью.
